Building a visual culture around beer
Beer Photography is a cultural project open to collaborations with organisations and institutions that share an interest in beer culture, visual storytelling and the beer supply chain.
Beer Photography is a cultural and editorial project promoted by Birra&Sound, created to explore beer beyond the finished product through photography focused on people, labour, territories and production processes.
The project develops throughout the year and culminates in an official exhibition during Beer & Food Attraction 2027.
Beer Photography welcomes collaborations with:
- trade associations and institutions;
- breweries, maltings and supply-chain companies;
- cultural organisations;
- local and territorial initiatives;
- technical sponsors;
- schools, academies and educational programmes;
- festivals and cultural events.
Areas of collaboration
Beer Photography develops cultural, editorial and territorial collaborations consistent with its curatorial identity and with the goal of promoting the beer supply chain through photography.
Collaborations may include:
- cultural and institutional support for the project;
- editorial partnerships and shared content valorisation;
- access to agricultural, production and distribution environments;
- experiential awards connected to the beer supply chain;
- workshops, masterclasses and educational activities;
- collaborations with institutions, territorial organisations and cultural associations;
- technical or organisational support for exhibitions and cultural activities.
The project also welcomes long-term partnerships from organisations willing to support Beer Photography as an annual cultural initiative dedicated to building a new visual culture around beer.
Sponsors and partners are not involved in the selection, evaluation or awarding processes of the competition, which remain under the exclusive responsibility of the independent jury.
